DOVER DISTRICT COUNCIL - COMMUNITY ROOTS PROJECT
This new project entails a new asset for our communities, our Community Roots van! A modified and adapted Mercedes Sprinter with workspace onboard and unlimited data and Wi-Fi so we can work out and about across the Dover District, including our rural areas and reducing digital exclusion.
Each month will be themed while we work with partners and other departments to provide a wraparound service to residents within the District. We’ll have a webpage live on our website, which includes a calendar that will show where we are for up to 3 months at a time.

COMMUNITY GRANT
The Parish Council has a modest Community Fund aimed at helping community groups and organisations to do things for the benefit of the community and we would encourage anyone with ideas and a vision to access the funding. We welcome applications by a simple letter outlining the idea and the funding sought.
